Refund (Replacement) policy

​We believe strongly in the quality of our products. We strive to ensure all of our products not only meet, but exceed Canadian standards. This is achieved through various forms of third party testing, certifications and quality control implemented by Canadian Lumber. Our Refund (Replacement) / Returns Policy is valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of your purchase. If you receive your order and are not satisfied with the quality of our product you can contact us for a replacement. If the period of 30 days has elapsed since the purchase, we, unfortunately, can not offer you a replacement.

Refund (Replacement) requirements

The following criteria must be met to qualify for a replacement:

– Product is defective

– Product must be unused

In order to ensure the above criteria has been met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet the listed criteria above, we reserve the right to not send a replacement.

Proof of purchase

To complete your replacement, we require a receipt, purchase order or other proof of purchase. Please note that without the aforementioned proof of purchase, we will not be able to issue a replacement.


Sale and clearance items

Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately, sale or clearance items cannot be returned.

Shipping return items

In order to return an item, you must contact us first.

Returns can be mailed to 3731 Mackintosh Street, Halifax, NS B3K 5A5. You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs with regard to the items that you wish to return. We will not refund the shipping costs.

You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged. So that they will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found damaged or used beyond what it takes for us to reasonably inspect it, then we may reject a request.

We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund replacement.


Delivery policy

Items ordered on will be shipped within 5 business days of the ordering date. All deliveries will be made in accordance with Canada Post and UPS shipping policies. This will depend on the carrier used at the time of shipping. Typically, smaller packages will be mailed through Canada Post, while larger packages will typically be mailed through UPS. However, this is subject to change pending different circumstances.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
