WHY 'CANADIAN LUMBER'?
Looking at the different major cannabis accessory brands, we noticed that the Canadian cannabis market did not have a product that fully represented the values of the Mindful Smoker. Canadian Lumber represents a culmination of the work that we, historically and as a country, have put into building not only this industry but the social and cultural norms that make Canadians so valued.

WHY 3 PAPER TYPES?
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EACH TYPE OF PAPER?
The Greens: The Greens are 100% All Natural, unbleached, unrefined hemp. Many of the hemp fibers remain intact and are visible in this paper specifically. Hemp absorbs moisture which will naturally slow your burn. (Best with drier materials, and will allow for the most natural taste when consuming your products)
The Woods: The Woods are 100% All Natural, unbleached, unrefined wood pulp. The woods are pressed into our thinnest paper at 12gsm – making them one of the thinnest wood-based pulp papers on the market. It has a natural brown colour from the wood fibers which also keeps the paper strong and durable. (Best with damper materials; no heavy taste or thick smoke from these paper)
The Hippy: The Hippys are a 50/50 blend of 100% all-natural, unbleached, unrefined flax seed and hemp which yields a similar composition to rice paper. Unbleached rice paper is a very rare commodity outside the food market; therefore we found an alternative that allows for a similar feel and burn but without the refinement. It is soft to the touch with a pinch of texture and these paper rolls like a dream. (Best for a rice paper enthusiast, or those looking to try something new!)
Canadian Lumber found the cleanest manufacturer and then started producing with Canadian Lumber pure pulp. The papers then underwent third party testing at the top Canadian agriculture research institution – the University of Guelph.
